Sega Hack Hits 1.29 Million Users

Sega Hack Hits 1.29 Million Users
Sega Hack Hits 1.29 Million Users. Sega has confirmed that the personal data of 1.29 million of its customers was stolen in an attack on its systems. It comes after the computer games firm said on Friday that e-mail addresses and dates of birth stored on the Sega Pass database were accessed by hackers.
However, Sega continues to say that payment information, such as credit card numbers, remained safe.

Sega spokeswoman Yoko Nagasawa said: "We are deeply sorry for causing trouble to our customers."

She added: "We want to work on strengthening security."

Ms Nagasawa added that it was not yet known when the Sega Pass online network could be restarted.
'Investigation'

In an e-mail sent to Sega Pass users on Friday, the company wrote: "Over the last 24 hours we have identified that unauthorised entry was gained to our Sega Pass database.

"We immediately took the appropriate action to protect our consumers' data and isolate the location of the breach. We have launched an investigation into the extent of the breach of our public systems."

Sega explained that it had reset all passwords and urged customers to change their log-on details on other services and websites where they used the same credentials.

It added that password details had not been stored in plain text, suggesting that they may have been secured by some kind of encryption.

Sega is the latest in a line of games companies to suffer hacking and denial of service attacks on their online services.

Nintendo, Sony and several multi-player gaming communities have been hit in recent months.

The hacker group Lulz Security, which has been involved in a number of high profile attacks, including one against Sega rival Nintento, has denied involvement in the Sega case.

Instead it showed some sympathy for the company on its Twitter feed.

"We want to help you destroy the hackers that attacked you. We love the Dreamcast, these people are going down," it said.

How To Make Long Distance Love Work

How To Make Long Distance Love Work
How To Make Long Distance Love Work. Long distance is one of the toughest relationships for couples. How to make a long distance relationship work is really depending on you whether you are willing to make extra effort. Take these key points and remember them if you are in a long distance relationship.
Trust
Trust is the key to make a long distance relationship work. You can’t see each other every day, you must trust each other that you really want to be in the relationship. Remind yourself often that you are still in the relationship. You can’t see each other every day doesn’t mean you are not in the relationship now.

Frequent communication
Communicate with each other as frequently as possible. This doesn’t mean all have to be in formal communication. A short phone call about how you spend the weekend is good.

Surprise
Give each other a surprise is a simple ways to bring smile and feel of love. It doesn’t matter how far away you are. When I talk about this I have to tell about my friend Linda and her husband. Linda’s husband is a business man, he travels a lot for business. So they don’t see each other very often. One day Linda received a package as surprise. She opened it and found it’s a laptop her husband bought for her to let her work on her academic study. I could see love light in Linda’s eyes every time when she mentioned this laptop. Well, I’m not saying you also have to send your partner a laptop. You can send him a gift or something meaningful.

Don’t let anyone involved
When you are in a long distance relationship you need to be willing to make more effort to maintain it. It’s harder to do it, but you need to do it if you want to make a long distance relationship work. Stay in focus and don’t let anything or anyone to get involved in. It’s easy to get other people involved for a long distance relationship.

Find something you can do together
It used to be very difficult for couples to find something to do together in a long distance relationship. With the internet now, it’s easy to do it. For example, you can find some games that you both can play together online. There are a lot of games allow multi players to join.

Be flexible
One of the hardest parts to make a long distance relationship work is when one person is busier than the other. One person has less time to communicate with the other one. When your partner is getting very busy you should try to be flexible. Life is not only about the love relationship. There are a lot more things you can do, like pick up a new hobby, learn something that your partners like and you can do together when you meet. When you get busy try to inform your partner ahead, don’t wait until he calls to tell him you are busy. It makes your partners think that you are giving him excuses.

Be honest, you really have to do a lot more work on how to make a long distance relationship work. But it worth all when it’s working out.

How To Make Your Eyes Pop

How To Make Your Eyes Pop
How To Make Your Eyes Pop. We have a very clever way of determining your most flattering eye shadow shade that will make your eyes look as bright and gorgeous as possible. It's actually basic color theory—opposite shades on the color wheel make each other look more intense and vibrant. This means that you should pick an eye shadow shade that is directly opposite your eye color on a traditional color wheel. Don't have one handy? Uh, who would?! Here, we've done the work for you.
If you have green eyes, try out purple eye shadow shades such as lavender, violet, or amethyst. Keep the color sheer so it won't look garish. For eyeliner, a deep plum is perfect.

If you have blue eyes, go for a warm copper, burnished gold, or rich brown eye shadow. Chocolate is an excellent shade choice for eyeliner.

If you have brown eyes, opt for cool blue or green eye shadow tones like mint, powder blue, or teal. A deep forest green is an ideal eyeliner shade.

Best Diet Dash

Best Diet Dash
Best Diet Dash. The Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine have published a Boston University study that suggests that a dietary plan known as the DASH diet may help reduce the likelihood of obesity in teenage girls. The study surveyed more than 2,300 girls every year beginning at the age of 9, following them for 10 years. The DASH diet consists primarily of low-fat dairy and lean meats, as well as vegetables, fruits and whole grains. The goal of the plan is to eat what are considered healthy or whole foods as opposed to those that are highly processed and contain an excess of starch and white sugars, like cake or potato chips.

This is not the first time that the DASH guidelines have been lauded as one of the better dietary approaches out there. U.S. News and World Report released its annual "best diets" list on Tuesday, and their panel of medical experts has rated DASH as the best plan to follow to avoid developing diabetes later on. It was also rated the "best overall diet" for its ability to battle high blood pressure and help people lose weight.

The U.S. government relies heavily on the principles of the DASH-type diet in the construction of their well-known food pyramid, which breaks down what the average American should be eating every day to maintain overall health. The U.S. Army also recommends a DASH-type plan, after looking at the overall health of the average American soldier and realizing the need to reduce the incidences of hypertension among the troops.

But according to the experts, while the DASH plan ranks highest overall, the best diet for you might depend on what it is you're trying to achieve. While the DASH diet is geared towards preventing larger health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure, other diets consistently rate higher for their ability to facilitate overall weight loss.

Meal plans like Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers, which portion out your food intake, tend to rate higher in the rankings if you are looking to lose substantial amounts of weight over time, whereas the DASH diet has been shown to prevent a person from being overweight in the first place.
